Dr. Mark Gotcher was raised in and around Tucson Arizona. He received his optometric physician training at Pacific University College of Optometry. After completing training he, his wife Margot and son Kristopher returned to Arizona until deciding in 1999 to return to Oregon. Dr. Gotcher assumed the practice of the retiring Dr. Charles Radebaugh in December of 1999 that is now Advanced EyeCare Associates. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is compassionate about providing quality eyecare to Cottage Grove area residents.

Since moving to Cottage Grove Dr. Gotcher has become active in civic activities and enjoys the small town atmosphere and the quality of life that Cottage Grove has to offer. In his off time he takes pleasure in outdoor activities such as fly-fishing, camping, off-road motorcycle riding and golf. Practicing eye health care in a wonderful rural area is a dream come true. He feels blessed to have the opportunity of living and working in such a great community.

David Deutch, M.D. completed his medical and surgical training at the University of California at Davis in1989. The American Board of Ophthalmology promptly certified him. He joined the Eugene Clinic in 1989 and has been practicing at the same location ever since. He began his part-time practice in Cottage Grove in 1993.

Dr. Deutch has great enthusiasm for his general Ophthalmology practice. He enjoys seeing all patients; newborns to seniors. His expertise encompasses advanced cataract surgery, eye muscle surgery and pediatric eye care, glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye care and laser surgery, care and treatment of the macula and retina, eye plastic surgeries, and medical eye exams.

Dr. Deutch believes that the most effective medical care develops from an open partnership between patient, family, and physician. It is important to him that his patients have a sound understanding of the medical concerns and treatment options.
